Is anyone waiting to join the New Hire Information Session?

I must be having issues with Zoom, because it shows it hasn't started yet.

Not sure about the expiration date. I have fingerprints that possibly have been in the records for 20 years, LOL. I was told that my fingerprints are in the records as well.

Something similar happened to me not too long ago. I'm a current federal employee (different agency). I went in for my credentialing and fingerprinting. The official ran into an error when trying to process me and told me to contact my sponsor. I let my sponsor know what was going on and she said my prints are already in the system and I didn't have to worry about it.

Are people getting their E-Qip invite after they get their F.O?

I received mines yesterday. Oddly enough, they sent it to my work email address and not the email address on my USAJOBS profile.

So you receive your FO before the E-Qip?

Does anyone know what “tax check error” means? I was just sent a message by an HR employee telling me this but no additional info. Said my HR specialist would reach out to me ( which she has not, obviously)

They found an error with your taxes. At least that's what they told someone on the Zoom Calls today.

Hello all,

I'm a newbie here :)

I applied in April and just got the TO last week, did the fingerprints and also had a call with HR to discuss about pay match. She was super nice and helpful. Now I'm just anxiously waiting for my FO.

My projected start date is Nov 8th. Will the background check happens before FO given? Will there be any possibilities they let us push back the start date? I'm worrying I might not have enough time to give my current employer notice. Plus they are short of staff, so I hope I can stay an extra month to help them out but not sure if the agency offers any other start date.

That was fast for your fingerprints. I got my TO on the 23rd of September and I'm still waiting to do my fingerprints. I hope you get everything done in time.

Is your projected start date Nov 8 too? I wonder that's why I got the fingerprint invite pretty quick since it's only a month away. But I gotta give credit to my HR specialist, he's pretty responsive so far.

Yes my projected date is the 8th, I'm hoping I hear something this week. Great you are in contact with your HR person, I'm thinking mine is probably swamped.
